Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 8+ years of backend software engineering experience, particularly with Java and Spring Boot in scalable SaaS platforms.
  • Strong skills in designing and implementing REST APIs are required, with React/TypeScript experience being a plus.
  • Hands-on experience using generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Devin) in real development work is necessary.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting complex production issues in distributed systems using telemetry and logs is essential.
  • A proven track record of leading technical investigations, spikes, and prototyping efforts is required.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling is necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, with a proactive approach to team alignment and decision-making.
  • A passion for mentorship and elevating engineering culture as a technical leader is essential.
