Remote Lead Software Engineer

Description:

• The Lead Software Engineer will lead and build new product lines in healthcare using reinforcement learning and large language models (LLMs).
• This role involves extending and maintaining existing web applications for clinical users and patients.
• The engineer will integrate with third-party APIs, including national electronic medical record (EMR) systems and e-prescribing services.
• Responsibilities include iterating on proprietary algorithms to enhance patient care using graph traversal and machine learning (ML).
• The position requires architecting and deploying scalable ETL pipelines with clean data tokenization.
• The engineer will contribute to the deployment of deep learning training infrastructure.
• Direct interaction with customers to understand their pain points and rapidly deliver solutions is expected.
• The engineer will ship mission-critical features that directly save lives within the first few weeks of employment.
• Participation in hiring and scaling a high-performance engineering team is also a key responsibility.
• The role involves leading and owning projects autonomously within a flat structure of elite engineers.
