Remote Lead Wireless Network Engineer (Advanced Wireless Networks)

Description:

• Design, plan, and implement advanced wireless networks using platforms like Aruba, Commscope, Ruckus, Extreme, and Meraki.
• Lead complex Wi-Fi deployments to ensure optimal coverage, capacity, and performance.
• Conduct advanced site surveys with tools like Ekahau or AirMagnet for accurate network planning.
• Troubleshoot and optimize wireless networks, addressing interference, connectivity, and performance issues.
• Provide tier 3 support for complex network problems requiring expert attention.
• Lead and mentor a team of 30 lower-level engineers, offering guidance on network design and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate wireless networks with existing infrastructure.
• Implement wireless security protocols like WPA3 and RADIUS and ensure compliance.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for network designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Provide regular reports on network performance, incidents, and project progress to senior management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Wi-Fi implementation, design, and troubleshooting.
• Certified Wireless Network Expert (CWNE) or Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP).
• Cisco Certified Network Associate Wireless (CCNA Wireless).
• Experience with Aruba, Commscope, Ruckus, Extreme, and Meraki platforms.
• Proficiency in using wireless network analysis tools like Ekahau and AirMagnet.
• Strong knowledge of wireless standards (e.g., 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
