The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator and Instructional Designer II is a hybrid, intermediate role responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s D2L (Brightspace) learning management system and developing effective training content.
This position maintains and updates training courses for both internal employees and external customers, ensuring an engaging and accessible learning experience.
The role collaborates closely with the existing trainer and subject matter experts to design and enhance learning materials.
The LMS Administrator and Instructional Designer is expected to become an Aware-certified trainer to lead live remote training sessions for customers, contributing directly to customer education and success.

Employment Type: Full Time, Salaried Exempt.
Experience Level: Intermediate to Advanced Level.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) is required.
2 - 4 years of experience in LMS administration, instructional design, training delivery, or a related role is necessary.
Internship or academic project experience using D2L or another LMS is acceptable.
A passion for learning and helping others learn is essential.
Travel may be required on an as-needed basis for team meetings, training events, or customer sessions.
A professional presence is expected during customer-facing engagements.
Physical requirements include prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, operation of a computer and typical office machinery, and the ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
