Remote Linux System Administrator (Monitoring team)

Description:

• Join Hostinger, a rapidly growing company with a team of 900 professionals supporting over 4 million clients in 150 countries.
• Participate in shift rotation to respond to product infrastructure alerts and incidents.
• Monitor product infrastructure issues using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Graylog, with full access to the infrastructure.
• Engage in regular product infrastructure maintenance, debugging, enhancement, and development tasks.
• Document actions to ensure findings become repeatable and can be automated.
• Optimize and implement automation across multiple projects using Ansible.
• Implement new services and improve existing ones using Python, Bash, or other suitable tools.

Requirements:

• You must be fluent in English to work effectively within a global team.
• Experience in Linux system administration is required, along with a passion for monitoring and monitoring-driven operations.
• Practical knowledge of using bash commands to debug logs, service outputs, and network/firewall issues is essential.
• An insatiable appetite for learning and innovation is expected.
• A team player mindset with a proactive attitude and the ability to collaborate and communicate asynchronously is necessary.
• Nice to have skills include the capability to script with Python, PHP, Bash, Go, or other programming languages.
