Remote Machine Learning Engineer II

Description:

• Pinterest is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer II to build cutting-edge technology using the latest advances in deep learning and machine learning to personalize the platform.
• The role involves partnering closely with teams across Pinterest to experiment and improve Machine Learning models for various product surfaces, including Homefeed, Ads, Growth, Shopping, and Search.
• The engineer will use data-driven methods and leverage the unique properties of Pinterest's data to enhance candidate retrieval.
• The position requires working in a high-impact environment with quick experimentation and product launches while keeping up with industry trends in recommendation systems.
• Telecommuting is permitted for this role.

Requirements:

• A Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a closely related quantitative discipline is required.
• Candidates must have at least one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
• Special skills required include proficiency in Python, R, SQL, MATLAB, and PyTorch.
• Candidates should have experience in statistical analysis, building machine learning models, deep neural networks, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), and recommender systems.
• Any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience is acceptable.

Benefits:

• The salary range for this position is $203,490.00 - $267,272.00 per annum.
• The position is also eligible for equity.
• Final salary is based on various factors, including location, travel, relevant prior experience, and particular skills and expertise.
