Remote Machine Learning Engineer III

Description:

• SkySlope is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer III to design, train, and deploy models that enhance intelligent features for real estate professionals.
• The role involves integrating models into production systems, building APIs, and ensuring reliability at scale.
• Responsibilities include owning the full ML lifecycle, building models for NLP and intelligent document parsing, and designing scalable APIs and infrastructure.
• The engineer will write unit and integration tests, lead code and design reviews, and debug production issues while participating in an on-call rotation.
• The position requires staying current on AI research and mentoring junior engineers to foster a collaborative team culture.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5 or more years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in applied machine learning.
• A proven track record of shipping ML products in production and supporting them operationally is required.
• Applicants should possess a builder’s mindset, being comfortable with ambiguity and evolving specifications.
• Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical partners are essential, including the ability to explain models and trade-offs.
• Curiosity, ownership, and a drive to take ideas from concept to release are necessary traits for this role.

Benefits:

• The position offers a salary range of $150,000 - $160,000 per year.
