Remote Machine Learning Engineer (LLM)

Description:

• Responsibilities include fine-tuning state-of-the-art models, designing evaluation frameworks, and bringing AI features into production to ensure models are intelligent, safe, trustworthy, and impactful at scale.
• Key tasks include fine-tuning and adapting models using LoRA/QLoRA, engineering prompts and curating data, evaluating models with metrics pipelines, deploying and monitoring models in production, and collaborating with product, engineering, and design teams to launch user-facing AI features.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have strong experience in transformers, deep learning, and fine-tuning methods such as LoRA/QLoRA, SFT, and distillation.
• Proficiency in PyTorch is preferred, but experience with TensorFlow is also acceptable.
• Skills in prompt engineering and dataset curation for alignment with tone, safety, and trust are required.
• Familiarity with evaluation metrics including perplexity, toxicity, and relevance is necessary.
• A strong foundation in software engineering, including algorithms, data structures, and clean code practices, is essential.
