  • This role is hands-on and high-impact, allowing you to grow your skills while contributing to Loop’s product experience.
  • The position is based in a blended work environment, with options to work from Columbus, OH; Chicago, IL; Austin, TX; or Los Angeles, CA.
  • The tech stack includes AWS ML ecosystem, Airflow, Kubernetes, Fast API, Fivetran, dbt, Snowflake, Hex, Secoda, and GoodData.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have 5–8 years of experience since completing their undergraduate studies, with advanced degrees (like a PhD) or equivalent hands-on experience welcomed.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an ML engineer, data scientist, applied scientist, or similar role in a production environment is required.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML libraries such as Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow is necessary.
  • A solid understanding of classical ML techniques (regression, classification, clustering, time series modeling) and deep learning frameworks (CNNs, RNNs, GNNs, transformers) is essential.
  • Familiarity with deploying models into production and monitoring their performance is expected.
  • Candidates must be comfortable writing production-quality code and querying data with SQL.
  • Excellent communication skills are required, especially for collaboration across functions and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • An interest in ethical ML practices and a thoughtful approach to building fair and interpretable systems is important.

Benefits:

  • The position offers a competitive salary range of $124,000 - $186,000 per year, with adjustments based on experience, location, and market demands.
