Remote Machine Learning Engineer

Description:

• This role is for one of the Weekday's clients.
• The salary range for this position is Rs 1500000 - Rs 2500000 (i.e., INR 15-25 LPA).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience is required.
• The job is located in India and is a full-time position.
• As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to build intelligent systems that can drive insights, automate processes, and deliver measurable value.
• You should be comfortable working across the entire machine learning lifecycle—from data preprocessing and feature engineering to model development, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Key responsibilities include model development and deployment, data handling and preprocessing, contributing to AI-driven solutions, collaboration and problem-solving, and model monitoring and improvement.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python for machine learning and AI applications is required.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Keras is necessary.
• A solid understanding of supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning techniques is essential.
• Experience in building and deploying machine learning models in production environments is required.
• A strong foundation in algorithms, probability, statistics, and optimization techniques is necessary.
• Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or recommendation systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI-driven product development and practical implementation strategies is required.
• Strong problem-solving ability and analytical mindset are essential.
• Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing platforms (Spark, Hadoop, or cloud services like AWS/GCP/Azure) is necessary.
• Effective communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are required.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working in a fast-paced product or startup environment is a plus.
• Exposure to MLOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment of ML models is preferred.
