The Asset Data Team focuses on importing data from market and chain data suppliers for internal business partners such as Custody, Operations, Risk, and Brokerage.
The team aims to create a standard system for varied providers and asset types to enable partners to execute trades, pricing operations, and provide portfolio information more efficiently.
The role involves driving the adoption of real-time asset use cases and building services for importing data from both chain and market data providers.
Responsibilities include managing and standardizing data import from differing end-point patterns and leading the integration of services and reporting systems.
The position requires collaboration with development partners to create a scalable and reliable service for collecting asset data.
The candidate will contribute to the overall architecture of services that utilize asset information and deliver health and wellness information for data providers to the organization.
Requirements:
The candidate should have experience building a large-scale ingestion system from Websocket, REST, and Streaming endpoints.
Experience managing a large-scale streaming platform is required.
A proven record of creating applications that help businesses scale is necessary.
The ability to handle a quickly changing landscape is essential.
Although not mandatory, bonus points will be given for previous experience in the ingestion of large-scale Blockchain data or Market/Trade Data.
Previous experience in Data Modeling is a plus.
A willingness to visit Vancouver, Canada to see the first BTC cash machine is also considered a bonus.
