The position is for a Microsoft 365 Cloud Engineer (m/w/d) at Public Cloud Group, starting in January 2026, with options for remote or hybrid work in the DACH region.
The company specializes in helping medium-sized businesses modernize their IT structures and establish a secure foundation within the Public Cloud.
The role involves working with a team of 14 individuals focused on Microsoft 365, ensuring the administration and operation of Microsoft 365 environments for clients.
Responsibilities include the operation and further development of Microsoft 365 customer environments, technical support within Managed Services, and handling second-level support requests.
The engineer will perform administrative tasks such as user management, license assignments, group management, software distribution, and troubleshooting.
Additional duties include supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, coordinating the transition of customer environments to operational Managed Services, and managing ticket dispatching.
The role also requires taking calls and providing initial assistance for technical issues, documenting solutions, maintaining the knowledge base, and being on-call for emergencies.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in IT support for Microsoft products or a similar role.
Proficiency in German (at least B2 level) and English is required to provide comprehensive support to clients.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Intune, Security/Compliance Workloads, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint is essential.
Relevant certifications in the Microsoft 365 area are required.
A good understanding of IT service and operational processes, with ITIL fundamentals being advantageous.
A structured and service-oriented working style is expected.
Experience with basic automation using PowerShell is desirable.
Familiarity with Jira or similar ticket and project management systems is also preferred.
