As a Microsoft Cloud Engineer, you will design, deploy, and manage secure Azure IaaS and PaaS environments, including Virtual Machines, Networking, App Services, and more.
You will implement and optimize Azure networking components such as VNets, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, and Azure Firewall with a focus on secure architecture.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring performance and costs across Azure environments, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness, including integrated security alerting.
You will build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform, embedding security automation in CI/CD pipelines.
You will administer and enhance Microsoft 365, with an emphasis on SharePoint Online and Microsoft Intune, supporting complex migrations and secure endpoint management.
Configuring and securing Microsoft 365 tools like Teams, Exchange Online, and OneDrive for Business will be part of your role, enabling secure collaboration and compliance.
You will implement hybrid identity solutions with Microsoft Entra Connect and Azure AD (Entra ID), supporting secure synchronization and access management.
Enforcing identity governance through Conditional Access, MFA, and lifecycle management aligned to least privilege principles will be essential.
You will strengthen cloud security using tools like Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender XDR, Azure Sentinel, and Microsoft 365 Compliance.
Developing automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Azure Automation to streamline secure cloud operations will be required.
Troubleshooting complex cloud environments, addressing infrastructure, identity, and Microsoft 365 issues with a security-first mindset will be part of your duties.
You will document cloud architectures and security baselines while mentoring junior team members and leading knowledge-sharing initiatives.
