As a D365 Functional Solution Architect, you will act as the Functional Solution Architect (FSA) on projects while implementing various modules of D365 for Finance and Operations.
You will lead the D365 Finance/Project Accounting Workstream.
Your role will include performing the Solution Advisory/Solution Architect role in the analysis phase of a D365 F&O implementation.
You will conduct Business Process Analysis (BPA) workshops.
Accurately estimating entire enterprise-level projects along with appropriate resources and skillsets required will be part of your responsibilities.
You will create the Solution Blueprint document and perform Fit/Gap analysis.
Acting as a solution advisor to the project during design/development, testing, and deployment phases is expected.
You will ensure a formal process is in place for testing and issues resolution, specifically around the functional architecture and integration points of the implementation.
Finalizing and signing off on functional specifications, unit and system test scripts, and deployment plans will be required.
You will ensure training covers all relevant topics allowing clients successful use and maintenance of the application.
Acting as an escalation point for all support issues during and after a project will be part of your duties.
You will adhere to and improve implementation methodology as the business paradigm changes and share best practices with the team.
Travel as the needs of clients and the business dictate will be necessary.
Requirements:
You must be great at articulating architectural differences between solution methods and the challenges and approaches to integrating solutions built on different platforms.
Providing leadership and effectiveness in consulting and client management is essential.
You should be able to form and lead virtual teams and collaborate across large, matrix organizations.
Prioritizing tasks and communicating commitments is a key requirement.
You must be able to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
Solving complex problems with creative solutions is expected.
Mentoring and guiding junior consultants on best practices/approaches is required.
You should be able to learn new concepts quickly and thoroughly while promoting the mission and Shared Values of the company.
A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
You must have 8+ years of combined experience with Microsoft D365 F&O implementations, application deployment, and architecting complex enterprise systems.
Project experience including assessment and analysis, designing business case development, envisioning, planning, deployment, and benefits analysis is necessary.
A strong background in ERP concepts, such as finance, project management, and accounting is required.
You should have the ability to translate requirements created by the business and functional analysts into the architecture for the solution.
Hands-on experience with multi-phase, multi-country, enterprise-wide implementations is necessary.
A proven record of delivering information systems business value at an executive level is required.
You must have the ability to be the trusted voice at the decision-making table.
A deep understanding of the manufacturing industry is essential.
Working knowledge of ISV solutions is required.
You should have the ability to move between high-level architectural review/design and the "roll up the sleeves" level of performing all phases of an application delivery project.
