As a D365 Functional Solution Architect, you will act as the Functional Solution Architect (FSA) on projects while implementing various modules of D365 for Finance and Operations.
You will lead the D365 SCM Workstream and perform the Solution Advisory/Solution Architect role in the analysis phase of a D365 F&O implementation.
Your responsibilities include conducting Business Process Analysis (BPA) workshops and accurately estimating entire enterprise-level projects along with the appropriate resources and skillsets required.
You will create the Solution Blueprint document and perform Fit/Gap analysis, acting as a solution advisor during design/development, testing, and deployment phases.
It is essential to ensure a formal process is in place for testing and issues resolution, specifically around the functional architecture and integration points of the implementation.
You will finalize and sign-off on functional specifications, unit and system test scripts, and deployment plans, ensuring training covers all relevant topics for the client's successful use and maintenance of the application.
You will act as an escalation point for all support issues during and after a project and adhere to and improve implementation methodology as the business paradigm changes, sharing best practices with the team.
Travel will be required as the needs of clients and the business dictate.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree is required for this position.
You must have 8+ years of combined experience with Microsoft D365 F&O implementations, application deployment, and architecting complex enterprise systems.
Project experience should include assessment and analysis, designing business case development, envisioning, planning, deployment, and benefits analysis.
A strong background in ERP concepts, such as supply chain, manufacturing, planning, production, and distribution is necessary, with WMS experience being a plus.
You should have the ability to translate requirements created by the business and functional analysts into the architecture for the solution.
Hands-on experience with multi-phase, multi-country, enterprise-wide implementations is essential.
A proven record of delivering information systems business value at an executive level is required.
You must be able to be the trusted voice at the decision-making table and have a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry.
Working knowledge of ISV solutions is necessary.
You should have the ability to move between high-level architectural review/design and the "roll up the sleeves" level of performing all phases of an application delivery project.
Flexibility to travel as the needs of clients and the business dictate is required.
