The position is for a Security Architect at Cyclotron, focusing on Microsoft Identity and Device Management tools.
The role is fully remote and available to candidates anywhere in North America.
The employment type is full-time (FTE) and is targeted at experienced or senior-level professionals.
The salary range for this position is between $130,000 and $180,000, depending on experience level.
Responsibilities include architecting, designing, and executing enterprise deployments of Microsoft 365 Identity and Device Management tools such as Microsoft Entra and Microsoft Intune.
The Security Architect will serve as a subject matter expert, working with clients to design and deploy solutions that enhance the protection of Microsoft-based assets in both on-premises and cloud environments.
The role requires improving cloud, network, and endpoint security posture across Microsoft ecosystems, including Azure and Windows.
The ideal candidate should be goal-oriented and client-focused, capable of generating and executing technical designs based on client requirements.
Key tasks include driving discovery, design, configuration, validation, piloting, deployment, and support of Microsoft security capabilities, collaborating across business units, and contributing to the development of new services.
Requirements:
Candidates must have demonstrated knowledge and skills with Microsoft cloud security solutions and services, including Windows 365 Cloud PC, Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager, Entra ID, Entra ID Connect, SSO, and Microsoft 365 security capabilities.
Strong experience with on-premises Microsoft security solutions such as Windows 10, Windows Server, and Active Directory is required, along with familiarity with third-party solutions for protecting Microsoft hosts.
Bonus experience includes familiarity with competitive security tools like Jamf, Meraki, Soti, XenMobile, Workspace ONE, Okta, and PingFederate.
Experience in migrating on-premises Active Directory services to Cloud Native architecture is preferred.
Candidates should have experience migrating third-party IDP to Entra ID, such as Okta, Ping Federate, or SailPoint.
Holding a Microsoft 365 Certified Security Administrator Associate or Azure Security Engineer Associate certification is a plus.
Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are also advantageous.
Security Operations (SecOps) experience with Microsoft Defender XDR is beneficial.
A sanitized example deliverable showcasing the quality of written work is required, adhering to confidentiality requirements.
