Powster is a Creative Studio based in London and Los Angeles, specializing in creating interactive digital experiences and marketing campaigns for major movie studios, broadcasters, music artists, brands, and streamers.
The company is seeking a Mid-Weight FullStack Engineer to join the MX team to bootstrap digital services and platforms using the Powster ReactJS/NodeJS/AWS technical stack.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to challenge frontend skills and provides opportunities for leadership and project ownership across clients in the movie and music industries, including Universal, Disney, Twitch, Netflix, and Sony Pictures.
Responsibilities include contributing to web builds for digital services and platforms, working closely with Production teams from idea conception to delivery, managing the serverless static sites delivery system (React + AWS), representing technical excellence in front of industry leaders, and supporting peers from Production and Sales teams.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of commercial experience.
Comfort with the JavaScript environment, specifically ReactJS and NodeJS, is required.
Experience or interest in web 3D/AR/VR technologies such as WebGL, Canvas, WebAR, and three.js is preferred.
Candidates should have experience with consuming and developing APIs.
Experience with Cloud Infrastructure, preferably AWS, is necessary.
Strong communication skills are essential.
