Requirements:

  • Candidates must be backend engineers comfortable in technically complex domains, especially those involving machine learning, financial decisioning, or large-scale data systems.
  • Proficiency in Ruby and experience in building and maintaining production systems that interface with machine learning models, data pipelines, or high-throughput decision engines is required.
  • Exposure to Python and ML concepts is a plus, but deep ML knowledge is not mandatory.
  • A strong focus on observability, system reliability, and deployment best practices is essential.
  • Candidates should be data-aware, understanding data lifecycle, ownership, transformations, and downstream consumer reliance.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills are necessary to work effectively with product managers, analysts, and ML engineers.
