We are seeking a Middle Electron Developer to build and maintain high-performance desktop applications with a focus on automation, browser control, and cross-platform compatibility.
This position is full-time and 100% remote, with working hours aligned to the US Timezone (PST).
The ideal candidate will have a strong web foundation and experience in creating powerful desktop experiences using Electron, Puppeteer, or Chrome extension frameworks.
Responsibilities include developing, testing, and maintaining cross-platform desktop applications using Electron, implementing browser automation features, and contributing to the design of Chrome plugin-based features.
The developer will also build and manage communication between frontend and backend services, collaborate with QA, product managers, and designers, troubleshoot performance issues, and write clean, scalable code.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 2+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with Electron, Puppeteer, or Chrome extension development is required.
Applicants should have 2+ years of experience with Python or similar backend languages.
A total of 4+ years of overall experience in web development is necessary.
A strong understanding of browser internals, event-driven programming, and async patterns is essential.
Familiarity with Node.js and npm-based build ecosystems is required.
Good communication skills and experience working in collaborative teams are important.
