  • Veeam is looking for a C++ Developer to join the team working on Veeam Backup and Replication.
  • The tasks include optimizing and finalizing current functionalities of the VBR product, carrying out performance analysis, running diagnostics and bug fixes, and implementing network protocols between system components.
  • Technologies used include C++ 17, C#, Windows/Linux, STL, and Boost.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 3+ years of experience with commercial development.
  • A strong knowledge of C++ and the STL is required.
  • Experience in developing multithread applications is necessary.
  • Knowledge of algorithms and data storage structures is expected.
  • Proficiency in English sufficient to communicate with international teams is required.
  • Knowledge of the Windows platform and experience with the WinAPI will be an advantage.
  • Experience developing on the Linux platform or a willingness to learn is preferred.
  • Network programming knowledge is a plus.
  • Familiarity with C# and professional experience with PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server will be advantageous.
