Requirements:

  • Candidates must be exceptional coders with experience in writing clean, well-designed, versioned code, and a commitment to good coding practices.
  • Problem-solving skills are essential, with a focus on tackling complex challenges using novel ML approaches.
  • The ideal candidate should be impact-driven, motivated by translating research into tangible business outcomes.
  • Collaboration is key; candidates should enjoy working closely with a team and be willing to both help and seek help.
  • Strong organizational skills are required to structure plans, align stakeholders, and execute them effectively.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for expressing ideas persuasively.
  • A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field with a focus on Reinforcement Learning is preferred, though an MS with professional experience in RL is acceptable.
  • Proficiency in the Python ML ecosystem, Spark, BigQuery, and FastAPI is required, along with familiarity with Kubernetes, Airflow, Terraform, and GCP.
  • Web development skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, and related technologies are not required but are a plus.
  • The team follows best practices in code development, including well-tested, type-hinted, documented, and modular code, along with CI/CD and issue tracking.
