Remote ML Engineer - Python, Java, AWS

Description:

• Atimi is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer for a fully remote position in Canada, with EST/CST working hours.
• The role involves proactive collaboration within the project team to develop products, ensuring code quality and governance.
• Responsibilities include guiding the team through the development lifecycle, planning and estimating architecture, coding, and development, as well as refactoring and improving codebases.
• The engineer will communicate technical decisions to the global team, take responsibility for releases, and support live applications.
• The position also requires involvement in the deployment and operation of software (DevOps, MLOps) and delivering fair outcomes for customers.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have experience with Amazon Bedrock and LLM optimization.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Python and 2 years with Java is required.
• Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, ECS, CDK, Lambda, and S3 is necessary.
• Experience with DynamoDB, SQL, and configuring CI/CD pipelines is essential.
• Candidates should have experience building Gen AI-based applications and knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
• Experience working directly with clients and project stakeholders to define and refine requirements is also necessary.
