Firstbase is seeking an ML Ops Engineer to join their team in a remote position based in a LatAm country.
The role involves architecting scalable ML infrastructure, automating the model lifecycle, implementing monitoring and drift detection, developing low-latency execution for ML pipelines, establishing CI/CD for ML workflows, and defining best practices for the ML lifecycle.
The engineering team is collaborative and values clean, well-tested code, simplicity, and impactful work.
The technology stack includes PHP, Golang, Node.js, Vue, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, and various tools for collaboration and project management.
Requirements:
Candidates must be based in a LatAm country, although the position is remote.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in MLOps, ML Engineering, or Data Engineering, with direct experience deploying ML workflows into production is required.
Candidates should have at least 4 years of overall engineering experience.
Experience of 2-3 years working with Databricks, Apache Spark, MLflow, Unity Catalog, and feature stores is necessary.
Hands-on experience with ML lifecycle tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or Airflow is required.
A strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and automation is essential.
Expertise in model performance tracking, drift detection, and retraining strategies is needed.
