As a Mobile Android Engineer, you will be part of the engineering team, focusing on complex frontend development in Android (Kotlin) native platforms.
Your primary responsibilities will include the development of mobile applications and their integration with back-end services.
You will collaborate with other engineers and developers, requiring a commitment to a dynamic environment and rapid problem-solving.
Key tasks include designing and building mobile applications, ensuring performance and quality, collaborating on new features, identifying and fixing bugs, maintaining code quality, and contributing ideas during brainstorming sessions.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in mobile application development.
Proficiency in Android and Kotlin programming languages.
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
Experience with web architecture, including REST and RESTful APIs, and micro-services.
Knowledge of version control systems, specifically GIT.
Strongly advised to have experience with containers such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with caching technologies, specifically Redis server.
Understanding of scaling and web load balancing.
Experience in a rapidly growing company in the mobility, on-demand, or fintech space is a plus.
A BSc or MSc in Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field is preferred.
