Remote Mobile Engineer - iOS

Description:

• We are seeking a skilled iOS Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis.
• This position is remote and open to candidates based in Latin America only.
• The iOS Engineer will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to build and maintain high-performance mobile applications.
• Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining advanced applications for the iOS platform.
• The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications is a key responsibility.
• The role involves identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs.
• The engineer will help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Integration with backend services and APIs to deliver seamless user experiences is required.
• Participation in code reviews and architecture discussions is expected.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C is required.
• A solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle is necessary.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and SDK integrations is essential.
• A strong grasp of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines is needed.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git is required.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing frameworks is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal) are mandatory.
• Candidates should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working remotely with a distributed team.
