The Multiplayer Group (MPG) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work remotely in the UK.

The engineer will design and implement functionality for external clients and prioritize team success.
The position requires implementation across various areas, including Multiplayer, UI, and Core Tech on consoles, desktops, and mobile devices.
The engineer will identify potential risks in solutions, provide mentoring support, solve problems using sound engineering principles, minimize technical issues, and champion quality in development processes.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience with mobile game development, preferably iOS, with Android experience as a bonus.
Excellent C++ programming skills are required.
Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to articulate conceptual thoughts and accept constructive feedback.
Attention to detail and the ability to analyze and comprehend direction are necessary.
Candidates should possess strong technical insight and the ability to complete technical tasks on time.
Initiative and proactive problem-solving skills are required.
Excellent debugging and optimization skills are essential.
Experience in game development with at least two commercial game titles is preferred.
Development experience on consoles like PS4/PS5 and XboxOne/SeriesX is a significant advantage.
Knowledge of Unreal (UE4 or UE5), Unity, and other proprietary engines is beneficial.
Experience with Perforce is a nice-to-have.
