You will be responsible for building a private cloud solution for the government in one of the countries in Western Europe.
The focus will also be on migration and maintenance of the created solution.
You will manage Oracle and MS SQL database environments based on Linux and Solaris operating systems.
Participation in IT infrastructure and database-related projects is expected.
You will configure virtual environments to support database operations.
Troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring availability, capacity, and performance of Oracle and MS SQL systems will be part of your responsibilities.
You will prepare and maintain production, development, and test environments.
Automating recurring tasks to improve efficiency is required.
You will create and maintain technical documentation for IT environments.
Requirements:
You must have at least 3 years of hands-on experience working with Oracle databases.
Previous experience in MS SQL database administration is required.
A solid knowledge of SQL is necessary.
A good level of communication in English is expected.
Proficiency in Linux, sufficient for effective database management, is required.
Some experience with a scripting language (e.g. Bash, Python) is necessary.
Familiarity with MySQL would be an advantage.
