Description:

  • The position is for a .NET Developer at ACT DIGITAL BENELUX, with a deadline for applications on 20/08/25.

  • Responsibilities include writing and supporting backend code in .NET 8.0 using libraries such as Newtonsoft.Json, OpenTelemetry, Swagger, Bogus, AutoBogus, and Moq.
  • The developer will participate in the implementation of a micro-services solution, ensuring the backend code is reliable, fast, scalable, and secure.
  • The role involves writing and supporting services that handle data from multiple sources to various destinations, including APIs, SQL Server, Elasticsearch, Redis, ActiveMq, Graph databases, and CSV files.
  • The developer will review and approve Pull Requests from teammates and implement validation mechanisms through unit and integration tests.
  • Responsibilities also include creating and managing build and release pipelines and TestPlans in Azure DevOps, as well as creating and managing Kubernetes helm charts for applications and services.
  • The role requires writing and supporting complex SQL Server Stored Procedures and creating Kibana dashboards and Elasticsearch queries.
  • The developer will implement OAUTH mechanisms, with ADFS knowledge considered a plus.
  • The position requires working comfortably within a team, following SCRUM methodology, estimating work upon request, and writing technical documentation.
  • Secure coding practices, logging, and auditing features must be accounted for, along with clear communication with peers and upper management.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have more than 9 years of experience in Software Development.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Back-End Development with the .NET Framework is required.
  • Candidates must have over 5 years of experience in projects utilizing Microsoft SQL Server with Stored Procedures.
  • More than 5 years of experience in designing and developing scalable back-end components, including REST APIs, integrations, and micro-services, is mandatory.
  • Candidates should have over 2 years of experience with Docker, specifically Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
  • Experience in at least one production-ready project using the OAUTH standard is required.
  • More than 5 years of experience working in an agile/scrum environment is mandatory.
  • Candidates must have experience in managing Schengen Information System alerts via SIRENE files in at least one production-ready project.
  • More than 1 year of experience in an international/multi-cultural environment is required.
  • Desirable qualifications include more than 2 years of experience with highly scalable systems.
