  • We are looking for a Senior Umbraco Developer to lead the upgrade and optimization of an enterprise-level CMS built with Umbraco.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Umbraco v8+, .NET/C#, and CMS version migrations.
  • This role will take ownership of assessing the current setup, planning and executing the upgrade, ensuring full compatibility, and delivering a secure, high-performance system post-migration.
  • This is a 100% Remote position in LATAM for one of our most important clients in the USA.
  • Key responsibilities include assessing the current Umbraco environment, leading the upgrade from Umbraco v8+ to the latest stable version, refactoring or rebuilding templates and custom components, ensuring integration points remain functional post-upgrade, performing thorough testing, implementing performance optimization and security best practices, and collaborating with product, design, and QA teams.

Requirements:

  • The candidate must have 3+ years of experience working with Umbraco CMS (v8 or higher).
  • Proficiency in .NET/C#, Razor views, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required.
  • Strong knowledge of MVC architecture and component-based development is necessary.
  • Experience with SQL Server and relational database modeling is essential.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows is required.
  • The ability to independently plan and execute technical projects is a must.
