The NetSuite Architect is responsible for defining technical solutions specifically for the NetSuite platform.
This role acts in a lead capacity to provide technical guidance and design/development expertise for various engagements, including implementations, rollouts, and support.
The architect will translate business requirements into technical requirements and design specifications.
Expertise on integrations with NetSuite via the BOOMI enterprise middleware platform is required.
The architect ensures compliance with leading practices on NetSuite performance management and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Responsibilities include interacting with business users and NetSuite functional Business Systems Analysts to document application requirements.
The architect will work closely with business partners to provide proof of concept on technical and process recommendations.
Development of well-structured, easily maintained code and preparation of documentation for developed programs and processes is expected.
The architect will ensure team members follow established technical standards and work with the technical team for optimal design.
Deliverables must be of the highest quality, and the architect will prepare estimates for complex projects to assist management in forecasting project delivery dates.
Production support for existing systems is part of the role, along with mentoring and training team members.
The architect will perform design and development of third-party integrations, including Address/Shipping/Tax validation, Bank, Payment, CRM, eCommerce (SHOPIFY), PIM, Arena, and Adaptive Insights (FP&A).
Participation in cross-functional efforts to build out web application platforms is required.
The architect will work with technical teams to modify procedures/processes to solve complex problems and utilize functional knowledge of B2C, Financials, Order Management, Supply Chain, and NetSuite MRP.
Requirements:
Candidates must be a certified NetSuite/iPaaS Developer.
Experience in multi-site and multi-country, end-to-end implementations of NetSuite is required.
Proficiency in using development tools such as SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and Suite Talk is necessary.
A good understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases is essential.
At least 5 years of experience working with SOAP/REST based services and XML data import/export activities is required.
Experience with tagging and testing tools is a plus.
Candidates must demonstrate a strong ability to balance multiple responsibilities and take initiative.
The ability to perform in a fast-paced and highly interactive team environment is crucial.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with problem-solving skills, are required.
A Bachelor's Degree in IT or a related functional business area, or equivalent experience, is necessary.
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in NetSuite and iPaaS (BOOMI, Zapier).
Benefits:
The salary range for this position in California is $165K - $190K.
Base salary or hourly rate will be based on the cost of labor for the city/state where the new hire resides at the time of hire.
