We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator with at least three years of hands-on experience managing and maintaining enterprise networks.
The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our client's network infrastructure while supporting day-to-day IT operations.
Experience with Fortinet and/or Ubiquiti networking equipment is ideal but not required.
This is a remote, contract-to-permanent opportunity.
Key responsibilities include configuring, monitoring, and maintaining network infrastructure, managing and troubleshooting connectivity, monitoring network performance, implementing security best practices, supporting server and storage environments, collaborating with internal teams and vendors, maintaining documentation, and providing tier-1/2 support for network-related incidents.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role is required.
Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls and Ubiquiti networking equipment is desired.
A strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols is necessary.
Experience managing network security policies, firewall rules, and intrusion prevention/detection systems is required.
Familiarity with monitoring and management tools for performance and security is essential.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team are needed.
