Remote Network Automation Engineer

Description:

• Wifinity is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Network Engineer with a keen interest in automation platforms to join their dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate will serve as the product owner responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of automation platforms.
• The role requires a strong foundation in networking and a basic understanding of scripting, particularly in Python.
• Responsibilities include overseeing the lifecycle of automation platforms from conception to deployment, developing and maintaining automation scripts in Python, and ensuring seamless integration of automation platforms within the network infrastructure.
• The candidate will manage and optimize the performance of various automation tools and technologies, create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Staying updated on emerging technologies and providing technical support and guidance on automation-related issues are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements:

• The candidate must have strong documentation skills to clearly articulate technical processes, platform configurations, and network designs.
• A proactive approach, self-motivation, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a strong desire to learn new technologies and concepts are essential.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required to work effectively in a team environment and interact with all levels of the organization.
• A basic understanding of scripting and programming concepts, with a focus on Python, is necessary, along with solid networking skills including knowledge of network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with platform management, including the ability to deploy, configure, and maintain automation tools and technologies, is required.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Python programming certification) are preferred but not required.
