iT1, a leading national technology solution provider headquartered in Tempe, AZ, is looking for a Network Engineer II to join their Consulting team.
The Network Engineer II is responsible for troubleshooting, remediation, and implementation of network solutions to meet clients’ technology and business needs.
This role will engage with a variety of clients daily and play a pivotal part in ensuring client success and the overall uptime and performance of critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities include researching, resolving, and responding to internal and client issues in a timely manner to provide best-in-class support for iT1’s Managed Service Clients.
The engineer will monitor the ticketing queue and respond to service requests or incidents.
Troubleshooting problems reported by users and maintaining a secure systems environment is essential.
The role involves maintaining, monitoring, and supporting the network infrastructure environment and/or facilities.
The engineer will coordinate and work on multiple cross-functional base work initiatives and projects.
Diagnosing and resolving complex network-related incidents is a key responsibility.
Support for multiple systems or applications of medium to high complexity is required, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility.
The engineer will install, configure, and maintain approved hardware and software components.
Providing support for connectivity or related network/communication issues for the user community is expected.
Defining technical requirements to meet customer business requirements and presenting solutions to clients in face-to-face and virtual meetings is part of the role.
Implementing solutions according to technical requirements and escalating issues to appropriate personnel as necessary are also included in the responsibilities.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of Cisco networking leadership experience in large, multi-site enterprises is required.
At least 3 years of experience in Cisco network hardware configuration management, including routers, switches, and VPN/IPSec, is necessary.
Candidates must have 3+ years of managing enterprise deployment and support for secure wireless.
Mastery of TCP/IP, including LAN and secure WAN design and implementation, for at least 3 years is required.
The ability to assess existing architectures and situations and make recommendations is essential.
Strong relationship-building skills with clients to develop and share understanding of technology solutions are necessary.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to present and articulate technical content aligned to the audience.
