Description:

• Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain their Enterprise Network Infrastructure.
• The Network Engineer will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security across LAN, WAN, VPN, and Cloud-connected Systems.
• Key responsibilities include designing, configuring, and maintaining Network Infrastructure such as routers, switches, firewalls, and WLAN.
• The role involves monitoring and troubleshooting network performance and connectivity issues.
• The Network Engineer will implement and manage network security measures and access controls.
• Collaboration with IT teams and vendors on network-related projects and escalations is required.
• Maintaining network documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards is essential.
• The position also supports disaster recovery planning and business continuity setups.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in the Network area.
• Current product certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP, are desired.
• Applicants should possess profound know-how in troubleshooting, Ethernet, TCP/IP, Datacenter LAN, Cisco NX-OS, Cisco Fabricpath, and Cisco ACI.
• Experience with Cisco equipment, including APIC, Nexus 9K/5K, IOS, and NX-OS, is required.
• Good knowledge of automation with Ansible and Python is considered an advantage.
• Candidates should enjoy working in a collegial team within an agile environment.
• Fluency in English is mandatory, and knowledge of German is an advantage.
