The selected candidate will be required to work on-site in Philadelphia for the first 6 months and must live in the Philadelphia area to be considered, with remote work available after the initial project.
Responsibilities include providing effective network security implementation and consulting services for multiple unique customers and environments, implementing and managing SASE technologies, managing firewall platforms, and developing high-level network security documentation.
Up to 25% out-of-town travel may be required to client locations in the Mid-Atlantic region between Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of Network Security Engineering experience in enterprise environments.
Experience in a consultative or professional services role is preferred.
Candidates should have experience deploying and integrating top SASE technologies, with Zscaler being a must and others as a plus.
Hands-on firewall experience with Palo Alto, Fortigate, CheckPoint, and Cisco ASA-Firepower is required.
Experience deploying firewall technologies in one of the three major public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is necessary.
SD-WAN experience deploying technologies such as HP-Silverpeak, Palo Alto Prisma-Cloudgenix, and Cisco-Viptela is a plus.
Broad experience with foundational network and security concepts is essential.
Candidates should have experience authoring security runbooks, policy, and best practice documentation.
The ability to confidently lead projects and be the trusted network security voice in customer conversations is required.
SASE Certifications are preferred, with NGFW and Cisco (CCNA/CCNP) being a plus.
