Description:

• Interapt is seeking an o9 Planning Data Scientist to support clients in designing and optimizing statistical forecasting, segmentation models, and promotional analytics within the o9 platform.
• The role involves working directly with demand planners and functional leads to improve model accuracy and performance, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Responsibilities include analyzing historical demand patterns and selecting/configuring appropriate forecasting algorithms within o9.
• The candidate will configure and tune o9 statistical forecasting plug-ins for segmentation, seasonality, and promotions.
• Validating regression models and forecasting accuracy, and summarizing findings for business stakeholders is also a key responsibility.
• The role requires collaboration with developers and analysts to integrate data science outputs into the planning system.
• Documenting forecasting logic, supporting knowledge transfer, and facilitating planner onboarding are essential tasks.
• Providing guidance on statistical modeling best practices within o9 is expected.
• The position requires a minimum of 5 years in data science or analytics with a focus on forecasting or demand planning.
• Hands-on experience with statistical modeling in o9 platforms is mandatory.
• Experience with regression analysis, segmentation techniques, and promotional uplift modeling is necessary.
• Proficiency in Python or R is required, and familiarity with demand planning tools is a plus.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in data science or analytics, specifically focusing on forecasting or demand planning.
• Hands-on experience with statistical modeling in o9 platforms is a must.
