  • Smartbridge is seeking a Power BI Developer to create interactive dashboards and reports that facilitate business intelligence and decision-making.
  • The position is remote and requires 2-4 years of experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and SQL.
  • Responsibilities include designing and developing interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, creating DAX measures and Power Query transformations for optimized data modeling, performing ETL operations using SQL, Power Query, and data connectors, implementing row-level security (RLS) and other data security measures, and collaborating with business users to define KPIs and reporting requirements.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
  • Candidates should have Microsoft Power BI certification, which is preferred.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare, or Food & Beverage industries is a plus.
  • The role is 100% remote, and candidates must be available for the second shift to overlap with the US team until Noon CST.
  • There is a 3-month probation period before full-time confirmation, during which any required certification must be completed if not already held.
  • Technical skills required include proficiency in Power BI Desktop & Service, DAX & Power Query (M Language), SQL Server, Azure Synapse, or other relational databases for ETL, data modeling (star schema, performance optimization in Power BI), and experience with Power Automate integration is preferred. Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics is a plus.
