Remote OR Software Engineer

Description:

• The position is for an OR Software Engineer at Optimal Dynamics, a company focused on innovation in freight and transportation planning.

Requirements:

• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Operations Research, or Industrial Engineering, or a Bachelor's degree in one of these fields with two or more years of industry experience is required.
• Significant experience with an object-oriented programming language such as Java, C#, or C++ and software design is necessary.
• A background in optimization, probability, and statistics is required.
• Some experience in machine learning or artificial intelligence is preferred.
• Candidates must demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and find resolutions.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment is essential.
