Remote Oracle Apex and Pl/SQL Developer

Description:

• The position is for an Oracle Apex and PL/SQL Developer to join the ALC India team.
• The role involves analyzing, designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining Oracle APEX applications.
• Responsibilities include developing, tuning, executing, and managing Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and database triggers.
• The developer will support data architecture with some data integration, including API and EDI.
• The role requires quickly learning existing functionality and providing quick solutions to production issues.
• Monitoring database performance, tuning SQL queries, and identifying and resolving scalability issues are also key responsibilities.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2-3 years of strong development experience in Oracle Apex is required.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of strong programming experience in Oracle PL/SQL is necessary.
• Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• A strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts is essential.
• Candidates should have strong knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL, a procedural programming language used in Oracle databases, is required.
• Experience with Oracle APEX, a low-code development platform for building web applications, is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience in managing web page layouts with APEX templates and Universal Themes.
• Experience in relational data modeling is required.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills are essential for this role.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary.
