Vercel is seeking a Senior Partner Solutions Engineer to join their partnerships team.
This role will lead technical engagements with solution and product partners, identifying growth opportunities and executing plans that deliver business impact.
The Partner Solutions Engineer will work with partner engineering, sales, and product teams to grow adoption of Vercel's products and build strong technical relationships.
A key focus will be on growing Vercel's enterprise ecommerce partnerships and customer base, with prior experience in building and shipping ecommerce applications using Next.js and Vercel preferred.
The role will serve as a developer advocate for Vercel and Next.js, acting as a subject matter expert for solution and product partners.
Responsibilities include advocating best practices, delivering technical workshops, publishing guides, and inspiring partners through demos, enablements, and live events.
Requirements:
Candidates should have a strong web development background, particularly in frontend development, cloud infrastructure, networking, and modern application development.
A minimum of 4 years of experience as a solutions engineer advising or consulting engineering teams is required.
At least 6 years of experience in building and launching frontend applications using Next.js or React is necessary.
Experience in building and launching digital storefronts that integrate with enterprise ecommerce platforms is essential.
Candidates should have experience in developer relations, including training sessions, talks, and producing technical content.
A results-driven mindset and experience working in a fast-paced environment are important.
Comfort in working with remote, globally distributed cross-functional teams is required.
Excellent communication skills and experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders are necessary.
Experience in driving the adoption of web technology or previous pre-sales experience is preferred.
Willingness to travel 20% of the time is required.
