Remote PHP developer (Senior-level)

Description:

• Join a team of 750+ employees in 21 countries as a Senior PHP Symfony Developer in Ukraine.
• Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using PHP and Symfony.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, designers, DevOps, and product managers.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Stay up to date with new technologies and advocate for best practices.

Requirements:

• You must have 5+ years of experience in PHP development, with at least 3 years in Symfony.
• A strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, RESTful APIs, and SOLID principles is required.
• Proficiency with MySQL or PostgreSQL, Doctrine ORM, and caching technologies (e.g., Redis, Memcached) is necessary.
• Proven experience writing unit, functional, and integration tests is essential.
• Experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux-based environments is required.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (Vue.js or React is a plus) is expected.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and/or as part of a team are crucial.
• An upper-intermediate level of English is required.
