Description:

  • The DevEx & SRE team is responsible for the systems that assist engineers in building, testing, and delivering software to connected devices, as well as providing internal tools for visibility, diagnostics, and support.
  • As a Platform Engineer, you will contribute to infrastructure and internal applications that support OTA (Over-the-Air) updates, device simulation, and operational tooling.
  • The role involves full-stack development, focusing on building robust, maintainable, and scalable systems.
  • This is a hands-on engineering position where you will shape internal platforms, collaborate across teams, and support real-world product delivery at scale.
  • Responsibilities include building and maintaining tooling for OTA updates, collaborating with engineers for seamless integration, enhancing internal platforms, designing secure cloud services, participating in architectural discussions, owning infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, and implementing best practices for cloud observability and operational excellence.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience is required.
  • Proven experience in building and operating cloud-based systems in production is necessary.
  • You must be comfortable developing backend services in a modern programming language, with a preference for Typescript.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, observability, infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform or CDK), and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is required.
  • Strong collaboration skills are essential, as you will work with cross-functional teams to create tools that other engineers will use.
  • You should possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex cloud-based systems.
  • A passion for system reliability, clean architecture, and thoughtful automation is important.
  • Interest in IoT systems, embedded collaboration, or OTA workflows is preferred.
  • Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration platforms is required.
