The Cloud Service team is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to impact the future evolution of their product and the daily lives of healthcare professionals.
The role involves developing and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure services, ensuring their availability, monitoring, implementation, and scalability.
The team currently consists of 3 members working from Paris and other locations in France, offering flexible remote work policies.
Responsibilities include architecting platform infrastructure, ensuring operational and secure cloud services, maintaining an internal development platform for over 50 internal clients, promoting developer autonomy through self-service solutions, and collaborating with various technical teams from idea to production.
Requirements:
Candidates must have deep expertise in AWS, managing and optimizing services like EKS, S3, RDS, SQS/SNS, and KMS to build robust, secure, and scalable cloud-native solutions.
Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes is required, along with a solid background in infrastructure as code for effective configuration management and task automation.
Significant experience with monitoring and metrics tools, including Victoria Metrics, Grafana, and the EFK stack, is necessary for real-time visibility of system health and performance.
Proficiency in Python and/or Ruby is essential for developing customized solutions for the internal development platform and performing scripting and automation tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills are required for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and clear articulation of complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
A strong problem-solving mindset is necessary, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges in a dynamic cloud-native environment.
Candidates should demonstrate a genuine interest in staying updated on emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, showing a commitment to continuous learning and adaptation.
Fluency in French is mandatory for effective communication within Lifen.
