As the first dedicated Platform Engineer, you will work directly with the CTO to scale Kubernetes-based AWS infrastructure and Cloudflare infrastructure.
You will collaborate with engineering leadership to architect, automate, and observe systems from Cloudflare Workers to modern Container deployments.
Your work will enhance Developer Experience (DevX) for Product Engineers and ensure compliance and customer trust.
Key responsibilities include architecting Cloudflare Workers in TypeScript, operating and scaling Kubernetes on EKS, and building reusable CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements:
You must have two or more years of experience running production Kubernetes or EKS environments at scale.
Deep expertise with Docker and container fundamentals is required.
Proven experience in authoring Terraform-driven AWS infrastructure is necessary.
Proficiency in TypeScript or Javascript and familiarity with Cloudflare Workers and Node services is essential.
A solid background in CI/CD and GitOps using GitHub Actions and automated testing is required.
Experience with observability stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager is necessary.
Bonus experience includes contributions to Open Source projects related to Zero Trust networking, Postgres performance tuning, and compliance frameworks like FedRAMP and NIST.
