The Platform Engineer will lead the deployment and operation of product infrastructure, focusing on building, maintaining, and improving the platform in AWS.
Responsibilities include implementing scalable and secure cloud-native application platforms, improving development and deployment processes, and creating effective documentation.
The role involves designing tooling for telemetry data collection, participating in project management, and creating Terraform modules for engineering use.
The engineer will also evaluate new technologies for automation and infrastructure provisioning.
Requirements:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in DevOps, Platform engineering, or related roles is required.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize effectively.
A creative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented mindset is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding and experience with solution design and flow are necessary.
Excellent technical documentation and communication skills are required.
Proficiency in tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Argo Events, Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes is expected.
Familiarity with AWS core services, including compute, storage, and networking, is essential.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field is required; a Master's degree is a plus.
U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
