  • The role of Platform Engineer involves tackling ongoing maintenance and parallelizing work across a growing roadmap of projects, including Data and Billing, Internal Tooling, Infrastructure, and Security & Compliance.
  • Key technical challenges include building and maintaining scalable internal infrastructure on AWS, improving internal tooling, maintaining secure systems for billing and compliance, designing internal data pipelines, implementing infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, and occasionally taking on product or DevOps responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have 3–5+ years of experience as a backend or platform engineer.
  • Strong backend engineering skills in any language are required, with a preference for functional programming.
  • Strong relational database experience, ideally with Postgres, is necessary.
  • Candidates must be comfortable working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
  • A passion for improving internal processes and tools for engineers and the wider business is essential.
  • Candidates should be willing to wear many hats and take on varied projects.
