The company is hiring a Platform Engineer to support its growing infrastructure and developer platform.
This role focuses on secure automation, permissions and identity management, and scalable services that empower development teams to move quickly and safely.
This is a remote position.
The position offers a unique opportunity to learn from highly experienced professionals with decades of combined experience in Platform Engineering.
Responsibilities include automating infrastructure and deployments for cloud-native workloads, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing access controls in Databricks, implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform, enforcing DevSecOps practices, and contributing to zero trust architecture across Opala’s platform.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2+ years in Platform, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles is required.
Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure, especially in serverless environments, is necessary.
Candidates must possess scripting and automation skills in languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
Experience managing identity and access in cloud environments and tools like Databricks is essential.
Proficiency with Terraform and modern CI/CD tools is required.
Familiarity with binary artifact management systems such as Artifactory, Nexus, or CodeArtifact is needed.
Familiarity with ITSM and ITIL is also required.
Benefits:
The Seattle base salary range for this full-time position is $116k-$136k, determined by role, level, and location.
Individual pay is influenced by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
