Description:

• Alan is seeking a Platform Engineer (x/f/m) to join their Tech Foundations team.
• The mission of Tech Foundations is to enable Product Crews to experiment and ship product increments quickly while ensuring product quality and reliability with security as a non-negotiable attribute.
• The role involves maintaining high reliability while scaling infrastructure, tackling high-impact and high-risk projects, and designing robust infrastructure systems focused on reliability and observability.
• Responsibilities include maintaining uptime targets, optimizing infrastructure costs, improving incident management processes, mentoring other engineers, and contributing to the hiring process.
• The engineering team operates with a stack that includes Python/Flask, React, React Native, and PostgreSQL.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, is required.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools is necessary.
• Candidates should be comfortable writing code for automation and tooling.
• Some experience as a Full-Stack or Backend software engineer is preferred.
• Familiarity with modern deployment practices and CI/CD is essential.
• Candidates must be able to debug complex system issues and be self-starting and entrepreneurial.
• A humble attitude and willingness to grow, regardless of seniority, is important.
• Collaboration and enthusiasm for teamwork, learning, and teaching are key traits.
• Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of French is not necessary.
