Alan is seeking a Platform Engineer (x/f/m) to join their Tech Foundations team.
The mission of Tech Foundations is to enable Product Crews to experiment and ship product increments quickly while ensuring product quality and reliability with security as a non-negotiable attribute.
The role involves maintaining high reliability while scaling infrastructure, tackling high-impact and high-risk projects, and designing robust infrastructure systems focused on reliability and observability.
Responsibilities include maintaining uptime targets, optimizing infrastructure costs, improving incident management processes, mentoring other engineers, and contributing to the hiring process.
The engineering team operates with a stack that includes Python/Flask, React, React Native, and PostgreSQL.

Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in a relevant field.
Strong experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, is required.
Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools is necessary.
Candidates should be comfortable writing code for automation and tooling.
Some experience as a Full-Stack or Backend software engineer is preferred.
Familiarity with modern deployment practices and CI/CD is essential.
Candidates must be able to debug complex system issues and be self-starting and entrepreneurial.
A humble attitude and willingness to grow, regardless of seniority, is important.
Collaboration and enthusiasm for teamwork, learning, and teaching are key traits.
Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of French is not necessary.
