This position is for a Pre Sales Solution Architect at IP Fabric, located remotely in the United States.
The role involves acting as a technical expert and trusted advisor in network automation.
Responsibilities include collaborating with sales, product, and engineering teams to demonstrate tailored solutions that integrate with modern IT ecosystems.
The position requires delivering compelling demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and custom integration prototypes to influence customer success.
Key accountabilities include leading technical discovery sessions, designing and delivering live product demonstrations, and developing Proof-of-Concept environments.
The role also involves creating demo scripts, automation playbooks, and integration blueprints to support sales efforts.
Collaboration with product and engineering teams to prioritize features based on customer feedback is essential.
Conducting enablement sessions for internal teams and partners is part of the job.
The position supports responses to RFPs, technical evaluations, and customer workshops as needed.
Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in networking, network engineering, or network automation roles is required.
Strong knowledge of L2/L3 protocols such as BGP, OSPF, VRF, ACLs, and VLANs is necessary.
Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Python scripting, and automation tools is essential.
The candidate must have a proven ability to deliver customized technical demos and translate complex features into business value.
Experience working directly with enterprise IT teams and managing project risks and progress is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Familiarity with ServiceNow CMDB, NetBox, and Network to Code automation stacks is highly advantageous.
Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, YAML/JSON, and network compliance frameworks like NIST or STIG is a plus.
Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, DevNet, ServiceNow) or equivalent experience are beneficial.
Exposure to cloud networking environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and network compliance or security validation is desirable.
