Remote Pre-Sales Solutions Architect

Description:

• iT1, a prominent national technology solution provider based in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to join our Consulting team.
• The Solutions Architect is responsible for the design of complex projects focusing on Microsoft Cloud Solutions.
• This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft offerings for SMB and Enterprise clients.
• Responsibilities include hosting whiteboard discussions, developing technical architecture, and preparing client documentation.
• The position requires significant Microsoft experience and an understanding of Server, Storage, and network solutions designed around Azure.
• The Pre-Sales team consults with customers to provide SMB and Enterprise solutions.
• The Solutions Architect will be a subject matter expert for strategic client opportunities covering one or more technological areas with a focus on Microsoft.
• Key tasks include defining data management and governance practices, identifying opportunities to optimize performance and scalability, and implementing solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost optimization.
• The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, participating in planning and review meetings, and driving service designs that are globally available, secure, and reliable.
• The Solutions Architect must complete Microsoft Certifications and 3rd party Hardware vendors Certifications within an agreed-upon time.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline or equivalent experience is required.
• Candidates must have 5+ years of senior-level experience with related technologies.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical consulting role is required, and candidates must be comfortable in client-facing meetings.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Candidates must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
• The ability to work in a team environment and as an individual is necessary.
• Candidates must complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Experience with the Hyper-V Virtualization platform is preferred but not required.
